Descripción:
Noella Conner and Lilla Orban will examine two aspects of healthcare mathematics: disease test results and efficiency of vaccines. Utilizing the hypothetical of a zombie outbreak we will discuss how sensitivity and specificity affect the accuracy of tests. With this understanding, we will compare this scenario to the COVID-19 and address how variant strands impact the effectiveness of vaccines.
